My goals and intentions with this work were to learn a new way to use ink/paint in art. I wanted to show how you can blend different colors and make a cooler color by the end. I accomplished them using the rollers and ink given to us. My painting is about pattern (the sky). What surprised me the most was the steps to accomplish this project. The most difficult challenge I had to face was carving the linoleum. I met this challenge by being patient and hoping for the best. I learned the different ways in which I can use patterns in my future drawings/ paintings. Gabe showed me how to blend the colors well. If I had a do-over I wouldn't have carved out the bottom half of the sky. I feel best about the colors of the sky.
